The company, which has previously conducted offline aggregation projects for Tata Steel and other companies like Phoenix Conveyor Belt and Philips Carbon Black with value creation through internal and external aggregation, said it plans to create similar value for SME and MSMEs through anytimeMRO.com.
The latter will procure inventory from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and leverage its strength in supply chain procurement to make products like light and light fittings, paint abrasives, welding equipment, fasteners and fittings, packaging materials, instrumentation, electrical conduits directly available to buyers at best possible prices.
anytimeMRO, which has competitors like industrybuying.com, Tolexo and Moglix, aims to be different from other e-market platforms. With mjunction as the sole seller in the online portal it said it can offer best prices in the industry to MSMEs, who otherwise do not have the privileged access to such prices.
The portal provides for direct bulk buying facility and can be used in first hand by various industrial setups. It will also be the first of its kind B2B portal to provide excise duty benefit to customers, with a provision to avail concessional CST on all deliveries. While it has set up functional warehouses in Jamshedpur and Kalinganagar, an official statement said, there are operational plans to build warehouses all over India, facilitating delivery over a larger zonal area.
