  1. Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) mission is to develop agricultural commodities and processed food to promote exports. Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) covers setting up technology upgradation, modernization of food processing industries in fruits & vegetables, pulses etc. The scheme provides 25% of the cost of plant & machinery and technical civil works subject to a maximum of Rs.50 lakhs in general areas and 33% up to Rs.75 lakhs in difficult areas like NER.
