A worldwide revolution in information and communications technologies is occurring. The Internet, the personal computer, and the mobile phone are fundamentally changing our lives – affecting the way we work, learn and interact. Governments around the world are recognizing the value of e-Governance. Properly designed and implemented, e-Governance can improve efficiency in the delivery of government services, simplify compliance with government regulations, strengthen citizen participation and trust in government, and yield cost savings for citizens, businesses and the government itself. Not surprisingly, therefore, policymakers and managers are looking to adopt e-Governance in countries around the world – ranging from the most developed to the least developed.
E-governance has the potential to greatly improve how government operates internally and how it serves its customers. E-governance is much more than a tool for improving cost-quality ratios in public services. It is an instrument of reform and a tool to transform government. Thus, eGovernance is not primarily about automation of existing procedures (which may or may not be effective), but about changing the way in which government conducts business and delivers services.

Participant will be exposed to different e-governance projects that are being implemented in various states of India. They understand the importance of e-governance to the common man and thereby to the entire society as a whole.
For whom: This programme is for the Entrepreneurs, Government officials, Employees and ordinary citizens who are interested to know about how government is providing services with the help of ICT.
Duration & Venue: 1 day at ni-msme, Hyderabad.
Fee: Rs.3000 per participant. The fee covers cost of tuition, reading material, Lunch and refreshments. It does not cover travel costs of participants. Fee should be paid in advance by way of demand draft or cash drawn in favour of the CAO, ni-msme, Yousufguda, Hyderabad – 500 045. Fee once paid shall not be refunded. However, a substitute may be allowed.
This course is non-residential in nature at ni-msme, Hyderabad campus and at the end no certificate of attendance would be awarded to any participants. However, we have the boarding facilities AC accommodations available at extra cost and as per availability and first come first serve basis with extra fees for the non-residents of Hyderabad. Fee should be paid in advance by the way of demand draft drawn in favour of the CAO, ni-msme, Yousufguda, Hyderabad – 500045. Fee once paid shall not be refunded; however, substitute candidate would be permitted to attend the programme.
Accepted nominees are requested to reach ni-msme an Hour in advance of the commencement of the programme time e.g. 9.00am for the registration purpose. During the programme participants are advised to keep themselves free from all official and personal commitments. Participants are also advised to keep their cell phone in silent mode during class room sessions.
